Meitheal Chill Dara 2026
Tháinig pobal labhartha na Gaeilge le chéile Dé Sathairn 9 Bealtaine ag Meitheal Chill Dara 2026 in Óstán an Clanard Court, Baile Átha Í. Ba mhór an onóir dúinn fáilte a chur roimh Ard-stiúrthóir TG4, Deirdre Ní Choistín. I rith na Meithle, chualamar ó fhoireann Chill Dara le Gaeilge, ó Mhuireann Ní Beaglaoich, Oifigeach Gaeilge, Comhairle Contae Chill Dara, ó na grúpaí pobail ar fad sa chontae agus chualamar scéalta ó bhaill phobal labhartha na Gaeilge in Átha Í.
Buaicphointe na Meithle ná na grúpaí plé, rud a thugann deis do phobal labhartha na Gaeilge smaoineamh ar na bacainní atá romhainn agus conas na bacainní sin a shárú. Féach thíos an t-aiseolas a bhailíomar ó na grúpaí plé.

The Irish speaking and learning community gathered in The Clanard Court Hotel Athy on Saturday the 9th May for Meitheal Chill Dara 2026. It was a huge honour for us to welcome Director General of TG4, Deirdre Ní Choistín to the Meitheal. Throughout the day, we heard from the Cill Dara le Gaeilge team, from Muireann Ní Bheaglaoich, Oifigeach Gaeilge, Kildare County Council, from community groups from all over the county and from members of the local community.
The highlight of the Meitheal is always the discussion groups, which gives the community the chance to identify the difficulties and barriers the Irish-speaking community face, and to identify ways to overcome these barriers. See below the feedback we collected from the groups.
